Founded in 1985, the CPC helps dozens of women each week by offering:
*Free non-diagnostic ultra-sound services.
*Free, confidential pregnancy tests.
*Information about fetal development.
*Counseling about alternatives to abortion and about abstinence.
*Encouragement to begin a new life by establishing a relationship with Jesus Christ.

H.U.G.S.
Helping "U" Grow Strong
A program dedicated to helping young mothers-to-be in a time of personal crisis by offering:
*Caring, supportive counsel.
*An eight week one-on-one Bible Study.
*Infant-related incentives for participation in the Bible Study.
*Mentoring friendship with a volunteer counselor.
*Provision and guidance toward needed resources.

*Some of the topics that will be covered:
Prenatal care, unborn baby de-velopment, single parenting, newborn care (reducing risk of sids), how to se-lect a good daycare, emergency first aid, child safety, disciplining & nurturing babies, toddlers, & children, food for growth, preventing child abuse, potty training, building healthy relationships, money management, basics of budg-eting, menu planning, home/apartment renting, shopping for a car, insurance needs, using a recipe, furnishing & decorating a home, time management, handling conflicts, house cleaning, managing a checking account, & saving for the future.

*Career Development & Planning:
Why Work?, work motivation, what do I want from a job/career? , how to make a resume, getting a GED, working for advancement, understanding business, overcoming job barriers, how to have a successful interview, dressing for success, how to market yourself, computer training, learning what makes you look good to an employer to prove you can do the job, becoming bi-cultural (learning to work with every-one), & how to search for a job, reaching your dreams, how to enjoy any job, success in spite of circumstances, integrity on the job, earning respect, & overcoming fear of your future, etc.

FATHERHOOD 101 CLASSES OFFERED
As of December 16th, on Thursdays, the CPC will be offering classes for "dads to be" or guys who are already dads and desire to become a better one.

Class times are 11:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.
The fatherhood classes will be held at the CPC.
